Making sound decisions that are consistent with legal and policy frameworks is an essential skill for all employees. This one-day workshop will help you deepen your decision-making skills through engaging and interactive discussions, case studies and scenarios. In this course you will learn to identify, interpret and apply legislation in making decisions, explore the consequences of poor decisions, and examine how decisions can be reviewed. 

About your trainer 
Helena has over thirteen years’ experience in facilitation, training design, and learning and development having held senior management positions across the public sector. Helena’s combination of knowledge, skill and experience in management and educational roles across several public sector agencies means she provides high quality services to her clients. Helena brings her real-world experience into her facilitation work to help her clients learn and achieve their objectives. Helena received a Secretaries Commendation for Innovation as a direct result of her work on leadership training at the Department of Home Affairs and an Australia Day Award for her contribution to reinvigorating Investigations Training for the Australian Federal Police.
