Experience

Penny’s facilitation and coaching practice is based on her studies in the social sciences and positive psychology, with a focus on a strengths and a brain-science based approach. Drawing on this fascinating body of research, Penny works with organizations and individuals, leveraging rock-solid, evidence backed tools, skills and techniques to powerfully and positively impact personal performance, leadership practice, culture, productivity, change resistance, wellbeing and even business development. 

Having worked with graduates to the senior executive team, Penny has developed a reputation for facilitating breakthrough, insightful, sometimes novel solutions and outcomes with clients, as they navigate career growth, promotions, career dilemmas and challenges. Coaching projects have included executive and career coaching; skills coaching; talent management; career transition; and career/life direction coaching.  

In June 2017, she published her first book Culture 101: the four keys to thriving people and culture which has received great reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. Penny has appeared several times on radio national ABC, was interviewed on radio 2UE and for HR Daily, has emceed large charity events and corporate conferences. She also presented key notes and masterclasses on culture and change at the Convergence Conferences, and to the ACT Change Managers’ Community of Practice, plus been a regular contributor to Westpac’s Ruby Connection.   

After completing a Bachelor of Social Work, Penny undertook further study in marketing and organizational behaviour. Over the ensuing years, Penny has continued to develop her expertise in the ‘people’ aspects of business, gaining experience and accreditation in a range of courses and tools.
