The required qualification to apply for a Real Estate License in the ACT

This course provides participants with the skills, knowledge and qualification to meet the requirements for licensing in the ACT as detailed in the Agents Regulations Act 2003. It is designed specifically for those participants who have significant industry experience and/or a CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). This enables participants to achieve recognition for 14 units and attend training for the remaining 4 units required for licensing in the ACT.

Units of competency
Participants are required to achieve 18 units of competency to be eligible to apply for a licence in the ACT. Participants can achieve 14 of the required 18 units of competency through their existing qualification in CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property (Real Estate). The remaining 4 units of competency will be achieved through the licensing course. The units included in the licensing course are:
  • BSBFIM501 Manage budgets and financial plans
  • BSBHRM405 Support the recruitment, selection and induction of staff
  • BSBMGT502 Manage people performance
  • CPPDSM4006A Establish and manage agency trust accounts

Credit will be granted for the remaining fourteen units required for those participants who hold the CPP50307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). Recognition of prior learning can be applied for those participants who have significant industry experience but do not hold the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). Fees paid in advance
Wisdom do not collect fees paid in advance from individuals for more than $1500. If you are an individual enrolling in this training program please ensure you select the ‘Tentative Enrolment’ option. As an individual fee paying participant Wisdom requires an initial payment of $1500 to be paid in advance of your training program. Please proceed to complete the enrolment process and a Wisdom team member will contact you to arrange payment of the $1,500 deposit and confirm your enrolment.

The full fee for the ACT Licensing Course is $2,200 (GST free). Please note where RPL or additional workshops are required, the cost will be in addition to the course fee.
