Units of Competency

Upon successful completion of the Small Business Growth Skill Set (BSBSS00087) you will achieve five nationally recognised units of competencies – Wisdom Learning RTO number 88062.
  • Plan small business growth BSBSMB416
  • Design a digital action plan for small business BSBSMB413
  • Monitor and manage small business operations BSBSMB405
  • Manage small business finances BSBSMB406
  • Time management for small business BSBSMB414.

These units of competency make up five (50%) of the required ten units for the Certificate IV in Small Business Management (BSB42515).

Wisdom will provide an opportunity for those participants who wish to complete the Certificate IV in Small Business Management (BSB42515) following their achievement of the Small Business Growth Skill Set. Completing the Certificate IV in Small Business Management (BSB42515) is not part of the funded program, additional fees will apply.

Entry requirements
This program is for owners or managers of an established small or micro business within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) who want to grow and develop their business.

Training Subsidies

Skilled Capital

Eligible participants may be able to undertake this program under the Skilled Capital Program.

Eligible participants will be subsidised for the majority the program fee. (The standard program fee is $2,190). Under the Skilled Capital funding program, participants are required to contribute a small student fee towards the cost for the training program.
Participants are required to contribute $495 to the cost of this training and will receive a Completion Payment of $100 fromSkills Canberra upon successful completion of the program (achievement of the five units of competency).
Please note you will need to complete additional paperwork to confirm eligibility requirements and to access the Skill Capital Funding
