WISDOM provides the complete real estate training solution for all personnel to meet the educational requirements for registration and licensing in the ACT. WISDOM is also an accredited provider of Real Estate Traineeships in the ACT.

What are WISDOM Quick Quizzes?

WISDOM Quick Quizzes are developed by WISDOM. The questions focus on legislative and
compliance issues.

Why Use WISDOM Quick Quizzes?

WISDOM Quick Quizzes provide a mechanism to help agency principals manage risk and meet compliance requirements in the areas of knowledge and understanding of legislation through ongoing staff training and assessment.

Schedule 8 of the Agents Regulation 2003: Rules of Conduct 8.2 require an agent to “…have a knowledge and understanding of the Act and any other laws relevant to the kind of licence or certificate of registration held (including, laws relating to residential tenancy, fair trading, trade practices, anti discrimination and privacy) that may be necessary to allow the agent to lawfully exercise his or her functions as an agent.”

WISDOM Quick Quizzes may be retained as evidence of ongoing learning and development activities conducted to ensure registered/licensed persons are maintaining knowledge of the
relevant legislation.

Changes to evidence requirements for ACT CPD

The ACT Office of Regulatory Services has advised changes to the evidence requirements in regard to renewals of ACT Licence or Certificates of Registration. From this year (2010), The office no longer needs applicants to submit copies of CPD statements with their application for renewal of their licence or registration. Rather applicants need to submit a Statutory Declaration that they have completed the necessary CPD. ORS have advised that licence and certificate of registration holders still need to retain their certificates as evidence of completing their CPD. ORS will be conducting random audits of compliance throughout the year.
WISDOM will still be issuing CPD statements as per normal following attendance at our CPD programs for our clients to retain as evidence of their having met their CPD requirements. And, of course WISDOM retains records of all our clients CPD certificates and we are happy to provide any backup copies when needed.
