Wisdom provides a range of training, skills assessment, RPL and flexible learning solutions to support a range of funding options for individuals, employers and organisations.

ACT Real Estate Industry Workforce Development Program

The Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) is submitting an application to access the National Workforce Development Fund (NWDF) to develop and enhance Canberra's real estate industry workforce. NWDF is an Australian Government initiative that supports training and workforce development in areas of current and future skills need.

Wisdom, in partnership with REIACT will provide a range of qualification and short courses to address the identified skill needs across the real estate industry, which include:

Organisations may be able to access up to 66% of the qualification cost from the Australian Government. Eligibility criteria exist for organisations applying for this funding.

Australian apprenticeships/traineeships

Wisdom provides government subsidised training for new staff working in the ACT across public and private sectors through Australian apprenticeships/traineeships. This funding enables apprentices/trainees to develop skills whilst achieving a qualification.

Wisdom offers the following programs under apprenticeships/traineeships:

+ Professional Office Skills (Certificate IV in Business) (BSB40207)
+ Certificate IV in Frontline Management (BSB40807)
+ Certificate IV in Project Management (BSB41507)
+ Certificate IV in Property (Real Estate) (CPP40307)
+ Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
+ Diploma of Management (BSB51107).

Pathways are available to enable further subsidised training to a higher level qualification. Employers can receive training subsidies to contribute to the cost of the qualification.  Employers may also be eligible to receive $4,000 in government incentives for each apprentice/trainee. Eligibility criteria exist for Australian apprenticeships/traineeships.

Government specific programs under apprenticeships/traineeships:

+ Certificate III in Government (PSP30104)
+ Certificate IV in Government (PSP40104)
+ Certificate IV in Government (Project Management) (PSP41204)
+ Certificate IV in Government (Service Delivery) (PSP40704)
+ Diploma of Government (PSP50104).

Government employers can receive a subsidy to contribute to the cost of the above training programs. The subsidy varies across qualifications and trainee characteristics with a subsidy of approximately $1,400 to $2,750. This represents a saving of 30%-70% of the cost of the qualification. Wisdom can advise the specific subsidy available for the relevant qualification and trainee(s). The subsidy can support employers to provide quality learning and development for their staff in times of diminishing budgets.

Investing in Experience

Investing in experience allows employers to retain valuable skills and experience in the workplace through providing quality skills assessment and gap training for workers over 50 years old. Through a Skills Assessment and Gap Training, mature age workers can attain a Nationally Recognised Qualification at the Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level that is relevant to their current or future employment. Wisdom offers a range of solutions based on individual/organisational learning and education requirements.

Employers may be able to access up to $4,400. Eligibility criteria exist for employers applying for Investing in Experience grants.

Job Bonus: A Jobs Bonus of $1000 will be available to employers who recruit an eligible mature age job seeker, aged 50 years or over.
